Cleanliness Activity period per week in Public schools Notification issued
School Education Department Punjab issued a letter about the cleanliness of schools. According to this letter in the week, a period is compulsory for cleanness. Teachers must teach students about self and school cleanness inside the school.

2. I am directed to inform you that the Competent Authority has directed that one period / class per week shall be used to teach students about personal cleanliness & hygiene and about cleanliness of school premises. During the class the students be sensitized about cleanliness & hygiene and practical demonstration for education of cleanliness would also be given.
3 . I am further directed to request you to disseminate the directions at all levels and also ensure the implementation of above said directions in true letter and spirit.
